Guyver

Bio-Booster Armor Guyver, also known as Guyver is a long-running manga series written by Yoshiki Takaya. The Guyver itself is a symbiotic techno-organic (or biomechanical) device that enhances the capabilities of its host. Similar to the Venom symbiote from the Marvel Spider-man series.

Plot summary:

A test type Zoanoid escapes from the Kronos Corporation with three Guyver Units. Kronos soldiers attempt to recover the units from the test type, but are thwarted when the test type detonates a bomb that he has concealed in his bag. The Guyver Units are scattered in the blast. Two young high school students, Shō Fukamachi and Tetsurō Segawa, stumble across a lost Guyver Unit known as "Unit I". The second one is retrieved by Kronos and merges with Oswald A. Lisker to become the second Guyver later on. The final unit falls into the hands of Agito Makishima, who merges with it at an unspecified time. Shō accidentally activates the unit which then painfully merges with him.

The Guyver Units (also known as Zein Guyver Units, Unit-G's, the Bio-Boosted Armor or simply Guyvers) are mysterious bio-organic suits of armor that bond with a host at the genetic level, enhancing their innate capabilities and granting them an array of advanced bio-organic weaponry.

The Guyver Units were originally designed as all-purpose environmental suits, made to aid the Creators in their exploration of alien worlds. Although classified as armor, the G-Unit also changes many aspects of the hosts biological system, including the removal and rearranging of certain organs, the splicing of a host's DNA with its own, and the removal of the need to sleep or eat regularly. Besides increasing the powers of a human being when he/she wears it, it also frees them completely from the telepathic control of the Creators themselves, effectively putting them on the same level as those who created mankind to begin with. This led the Creators to dub it “Guyver,” which in their language carries a number of different meanings; mainly "Abnormal", "Non-Standard", or simply "Out of Control".

Guyver 0 is a olive green color. Guyver 1 is a light blue color. Guyver 2 is a mustard yellow color. Guyver 3 is an ashy grew color.
